Replacing your PJ-8000 replacement filter is easy. Just remove the side panel from your unit. Twist out the old filter, and twist in the new one.

The new and improved PJ-8000, also compatible with the PJ-7000 is a Catalytic Activated Carbon filter silver impregnated with twist lock technology for easier replacement.

Depending on when your machine was manufactured, you have either the PJ-6000 or PJ-8000 filters. Most new Miracle MAX and Royale units use the PJ-8000. The best way to find out is take a picture of your filter and send it to us.
The PJ-8000 works in all PJ-7000 and above units. It is the most recent filter.
Yes it’s extremely easy. All you have to do is open the side panel on your Chanson unit, twist out the new filter, and twist in the new one.
It’s important you change your filter at least once per year. After a year, the filter starts to degrade.
While the PJ-8000 is a great water filter, the reality is that most water sources are horrible to say the least. That is why we recommend everyone pair their water ionizer filter with either an under-sink water filter like our Hypurkleen triple filter, or a Whole House system like our Water Dove.
